Gay Marriage: Is it Really Hurting You?

Gay Marriage: Is it REALLY hurting you?

This wonderful country was not started by religious men that wanted to impose their strict religion upon the masses. To the contrary it was started by people who were in favor of religious freedom. In fact, Thomas Jefferson found Christianity absolutely absurd. This freedom we now have includes the right NOT to practice any religion whatsoever.
Whether you believe that being gay is a sin or not should have no bearing on their legal HUMAN rights within this country. We should not be mixing church and state. If you don’t agree with gay marriage that is perfectly fine. That is within your moral right. Don’t allow gays to marry IN YOUR CHURCH if that is how you feel. What is NOT within your moral right is to tell other perhaps non-religious people what they can/cannot do outside of your church or organization. Gays are not hurting you. They exist peacefully just trying to live out their NATURAL desires.

Don’t you dare mention anything about straight marriages being any better for the world we live in? The last time I checked the divorce rate was almost half of all marriages. Why deny gay couples the rights to LOVE in a union protected by our country. Do they not deserve death benefits when their lifetime partner passes away just like straight couples?

My opinion? God is Love. God doesn’t hate gays. God created gays! The men who wrote the Bible may have not liked gay men or women but the Creator I am familiar with certainly doesn’t make any mistakes in Her creation.

Oh yeah. If you dislike gays so much I am going to need you to rid your closets of most designer clothing and shoes. Guess what? You have gay created apparel on your back. Be consistent in what you support.
